A few years after my dad's battle with early-age onset colorectal cancer, I found myself in Washington, D.C. with a group of advocates from Fight Colorectal Cancer, lobbying Congress and asking for better policies for colorectal cancer screening and research. I felt powerful and inspired knowing that my voice truly made a difference. I want to share this same feeling with you!

I know that starting your advocacy journey can be confusing and intimidating, which is why I developed this website as my internship project for Voice Up; I want to make advocacy easy for those who are passionate about demanding better policies for cancer research, screening, and treatment. Our lives depend on it.
